Refund Policy

Last updated 23 August 2026 · Forms part of the Terms of Service

You get five free renders before you are asked for a card, so you should know whether this works for your listings before you pay anything. If you paid and it still wasn't right, the policy below is deliberately simple.

1. Failed renders refund themselves

You are never charged for a render you did not receive. If a render fails for any reason on our side — a provider error, a timeout, a capacity limit — the credit returns to your balance automatically. You do not need to ask.

This includes timeouts, which are the case most services quietly charge for. We refund those too.

If you believe a credit was consumed without producing an image, email us with the approximate time and we will investigate and restore it.

2. Credit packs

If you have used fewer than 3 credits from a pack, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund it in full. No form, no justification needed.

Past 3 credits or past 14 days, packs are generally non-refundable — the rendering cost has been incurred on our side. That said, if something went genuinely wrong, tell us what happened. We are a small operation and we would rather fix a bad experience than keep $19.

Unused pack credits do not expire, so there is no deadline to use them.

3. Subscriptions

If a renewal caught you by surprise and you have not used the period's credits, email us. We will usually refund it. We do not want revenue from someone who forgot to cancel.

4. What we will not refund

5. How to request one

Email hello@studiotools.design from the address on the account, and tell us what happened. You do not need a template or an order number — we can find your account from your email.

We aim to reply within one business day. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe, and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

6. Before you file a chargeback

Please email us first. A chargeback costs us a fee on top of the disputed amount and takes months to resolve, whereas an email usually takes a day. We have never refused a reasonable refund request.

Accounts with an unresolved chargeback are suspended until it is settled.

7. Your statutory rights

Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law in your jurisdiction. Where local law gives you a stronger right to a refund than this policy does, that law applies.
